    Email is one of the most important business management mechanisms when running a business. Unlike in the early days of your iamthebest@yahoo.com email address for sending the odd email to a friend, colleague or customer, email has become an organizational system.

    Professional email systems organize your calendar, tasks, reminders and contacts lists (and more) and have the ability to do so across all of your devices. Even the cheapest cell phone comes with the ability to manage calendars and contact lists.

    These days it’s really not possible to run a business professionally without these types of features. Imagine your client sending you a meeting invitation but your calendar isn’t updated. What about updating your contact list on your cell phone and expecting that contact to be updated on your lap top email client but it isn’t. What a mess that would create.

    Be sure to ask specifically about these features before you choose a web hosting/email service.
