Press Release
OTTAWA, Canada
Startup Canada and Rebel.com, domain name and product experts, are setting entrepreneurs across Canada up for online success as partners in Startup Canada’s nationwide #EveryEntrepreneur Tour.
“A strong digital presence is a must-have for today’s businesses,” said Startup Canada CEO Victoria Lennox. “It is thanks to partners like Rebel.com that we can work to spread this message to entrepreneurs across the country, and to connect with the knowledge and tools needed to excel in a digital economy.”
“We’re excited to work with Startup Canada to help guide new entrepreneurs through the many opportunities the internet offers for their success,” says Rebel.com CEO Rob Villeneuve.
The #EveryEntrepreneur Tour will launch on Oct. 14 in Halifax, N.S., and land in six Canadian cities before wrapping up in Toronto, Ont. on Dec. 14. Similar to Startup Canada’s inaugural tour in 2012, which engaged 20,000 Canadians in the largest-ever consultation on entrepreneurship in Canadian history, the #EveryEntrepreneur Tour will provide on-site inspiration, mentorship and training to thousands of entrepreneurs to help cultivate the next generation of anchor companies across Canada.
Between keynote sessions with top Canadian entrepreneurs like Second Cup Co-Founder Frank O’Dea and Moxie TradesCEO Marissa McTasney, Rebel.com gurus will be on-hand for Genius Bar-style support and will connect entrepreneurs to domain resources at their exhibitor space during a day-long tradeshow.
Rebel.com will be offering groundbreaking pricing on their products and services to attendees of the tour and members of the Startup Canada community.
